Stone Notes: Australian opal is a hydrated silica, Mohs 5.5–6.5, prized for its play-of-color. This natural oval cabochon displays vivid red, blue, and green across its full face. Emerald is a variety of beryl, Mohs 7.5–8, colored by chromium and vanadium. Diamonds are natural carbon crystals, Mohs 10.

Clean gently with warm water and a soft damp cloth reaching carefully around all opal prong settings and all emerald and diamond halo settings; pat dry thoroughly. Store separately in a soft pouch away from harder stones. Annual inspection recommended — verify all opal prong settings and all emerald and diamond halo settings at each inspection.
