Color Note: This is a natural Australian opal displaying vivid play-of-color — flashes of red, blue, and green that vary with the angle of light and view.

Stone Notes: Australian opal is a hydrated silica, Mohs 5.5–6.5, prized for its play-of-color. This natural oval cabochon displays vivid red, blue, and green across its full face. Emerald is a variety of beryl, Mohs 7.5–8, colored by chromium and vanadium. Diamonds are natural carbon crystals, Mohs 10.

A Note on Color: Photography is captured under controlled lighting to represent this piece as accurately as possible. Australian opal play-of-color shifts with the angle of light and view — individual stones vary in dominant hue, and colors may read slightly differently depending on your screen's calibration and light source.

Care: Your jewelry is a lifetime investment and a work of art — treat it with the care it deserves. Remove before sleeping, swimming, washing hands, doing dishes, or any water activity. Never apply lotions, creams, or perfume while wearing — always put on last. Avoid prolonged exposure to perspiration. Opal is relatively soft and sensitive to sharp impact, scratching, and dehydration. Never use ultrasonic or steam cleaners. Clean gently with warm water and a soft damp cloth reaching carefully around all opal prong settings and all emerald and diamond halo settings; pat dry thoroughly. Store separately in a soft pouch away from harder stones. Annual inspection recommended — verify all opal prong settings and all emerald and diamond halo settings at each inspection.
