Color Note: This tanzanite displays a vivid royal blue-violet. Tanzanite is a strongly pleochroic stone — color shifts between vivid royal blue-violet and deep violet-blue depending on light source and viewing angle. This is a natural optical property of the stone, not a flaw. The tsavorite garnets display a vivid, saturated forest green — consistent across all four marquise stones. Natural inclusions are characteristic of both genuine tanzanite and tsavorite and are fully expected in natural stones.

Stone Notes: TTanzanite is a blue-violet variety of the mineral zoisite, found exclusively in a small mining area near Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. It ranks 6.5 on the Mohs scale — beautiful and wearable, but requiring more care than sapphire or diamond. Tanzanite is strongly pleochroic — displaying vivid royal blue-violet, deep violet-blue, and burgundy tones depending on the angle and light source. Tsavorite garnet ranks 6.5–7.5 on the Mohs scale and is prized for its vivid, saturated forest green color.

A Note on Color: Photography is captured under controlled lighting to represent this piece as accurately as possible. Tanzanite color shifts with the angle of light and view; tsavorite may read slightly more vivid or muted green — colors may read slightly differently depending on your light source, screen calibration, and brightness.

Care: Your jewelry is a lifetime investment and a work of art — treat it with the care it deserves. Tanzanite is beautiful but more delicate than sapphire or diamond — handle with care; the marquise tsavorite points are also vulnerable to chipping. Remove before sleeping, swimming, showering, or any water activity. Never apply lotions, hairspray, perfume, or cosmetics while wearing — always put on last. Avoid prolonged exposure to perspiration. Avoid impact, sharp blows, and abrasive surfaces — tanzanite can chip or scratch, and the marquise tsavorite points are vulnerable. Never expose to sudden temperature changes. Clean gently with warm water and mild soap using a soft brush to reach between all diamond settings in both halo levels, around the tsavorite prongs, and into the open gallery; pat dry thoroughly with a soft cloth. Never use ultrasonic or steam cleaners. Store separately in a soft pouch. Annual inspection recommended — verify all 4 tanzanite prong tips, all tsavorite prong settings, and full two-level diamond halo integrity at each inspection.
