Cushion Tanzanite, Tsavorite & Diamond Ring

A 2.35ct cushion tanzanite is set in a four-prong crown mounting at the center of a two-level diamond halo totaling 0.83ct — an inner ring of round brilliant diamonds surrounding the stone closely, and an outer ring of larger round brilliants spaced outward, with a gold rail defining the separation between levels. Four marquise tsavorite garnets totaling 0.33ct are nestled between the halo levels at the top, bottom, and each side, creating a striking three-color composition against the white diamonds and royal blue-violet tanzanite. Beneath the mounting, an open gallery frames the pavilion above a wide tapered shank. Color Note:

This tanzanite displays a vivid royal blue-violet. Tanzanite is a strongly pleochroic stone — color shifts between vivid royal blue-violet and deep violet-blue depending on light source and viewing angle. The tsavorite garnets display a vivid, saturated forest green.

Stone Notes:

Tanzanite is a blue-violet variety of zoisite, found exclusively near Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, with a Mohs hardness of 6.5. Tanzanite is strongly pleochroic, shifting between vivid royal blue-violet, deep violet-blue, and burgundy depending on the angle and light source. Tsavorite is a vivid green variety of grossular garnet, colored by vanadium and chromium, with a Mohs hardness of 6.5–7.5. Inclusions may be present and are characteristic of these gemstones. Diamonds are natural carbon crystals, Mohs 10, white and bright.

Care:

Your jewelry is a lifetime investment and a work of art — treat it with the care it deserves. Remove before sleeping, swimming, bathing, showering, or any prolonged water exposure. Never apply lotions, creams, hairspray, perfume, or cosmetics while wearing — always put on last. Avoid prolonged exposure to perspiration. Avoid impact and abrasive surfaces. Handle the marquise tsavorite points with particular care. Keep away from hot water, direct sunlight, and sudden temperature changes. Avoid chlorine, harsh chemicals, and prolonged chemical exposure. Never use ultrasonic or steam cleaners. Wipe gently after each wear with a soft, dry cloth dampened with plain water only — do not soak or rinse under hot water or running water. Store separately in a soft pouch to protect the tanzanite, tsavorite prongs, diamond settings across both halo levels, gold rail, open gallery, and wide tapered shank. Annual inspection recommended — verify all tanzanite prongs, tsavorite prong settings, full two-level diamond halo integrity, gold rail, and gallery at each inspection.
