A 17.40ct emerald-cut aquamarine sits in a V-shaped mounting formed by two sweeping gold arms that rise from the wide split shank and frame the stone at its base. An open gallery beneath the stone exposes the pavilion. Ten round brilliant diamonds form white-gold triangular clusters of five on each shoulder. This aquamarine displays clear, luminous blue with cool tones and even color across the face of the emerald cut.

Stone Notes:

Aquamarine is a naturally occurring variety of beryl with clear, luminous blue color and natural transparency. It ranks 7.5–8 on the Mohs scale. Natural inclusions are characteristic of genuine aquamarine and are fully expected in these stones. Diamonds are natural carbon crystals, Mohs 10 — ten round brilliants arranged in white-gold triangular clusters of five on each shoulder, white, bright, and precisely placed.

Care:

Never apply lotions, creams, hairspray, perfume, or cosmetics while wearing — always put on last. Avoid prolonged exposure to perspiration. Avoid impact and abrasive surfaces. Keep away from hot water, direct sunlight, and sudden temperature changes. Avoid chlorine, harsh chemicals, and prolonged chemical exposure. Never use ultrasonic or steam cleaners. Wipe gently after each wear with a soft, dry cloth dampened with plain water only — do not soak or rinse under hot water or running water. Store separately in a soft pouch to protect the aquamarine setting, diamond clusters, open gallery, and split shank. Annual inspection recommended — verify all aquamarine prongs, all 10 diamond settings, the V-shaped mounting, open-gallery integrity, and split-shank integrity at each inspection.
