This golden South Sea pearl displays a warm golden body color with a high-luster surface.

Stone Notes:

South Sea pearls are organic gems with a Mohs hardness of 2.5–4.5 and are cultured in the gold-lipped oyster (Pinctada maxima). Their thick nacre contributes to their characteristic luster and warm golden body color. Diamonds are natural carbon crystals with a Mohs hardness of 10.

Care:

Your jewelry is a lifetime investment and a work of art — treat it with the care it deserves. Remove before swimming, bathing, showering, or any prolonged water exposure. Never apply lotions, creams, hairspray, perfume, or cosmetics while wearing — always put on last. Avoid prolonged exposure to perspiration. Avoid impact and abrasive surfaces. Keep away from hot water, direct sunlight, and sudden temperature changes. Avoid chlorine, harsh chemicals, and prolonged chemical exposure, which can damage nacre over time. Never use ultrasonic or steam cleaners. Wipe gently after each wear with a soft, dry cloth dampened with plain water only — do not soak or rinse under running hot water. Store separately in a soft pouch away from harder stones. Annual inspection recommended — verify cup security, epoxy integrity, swirl-mounting integrity, all 10 channel-set diamond positions, pendant bail security, and chain attachment points at each inspection.
