This amethyst displays deep violet-purple, with brighter purple through the center and deeper violet tones in the shadowed outer facets.

Stone Notes:

Amethyst is a naturally occurring variety of quartz with rich violet-purple color and a Mohs hardness of 7. Natural inclusions are characteristic of genuine amethyst and are fully expected in these stones. Diamonds are natural carbon crystals, Mohs 10 — six round brilliants prong-set in a vertical row of three on each shoulder — white, bright, and precisely placed.

Care:

Wipe gently after each wear with a soft, dry cloth dampened with plain water only — do not soak or rinse under hot water or running water.
