Color Note:

The black coral displays a deep, lustrous jet black — smooth and consistent across each marquise stone. The Australian opals display a soft iridescent greenish-blue play of color.

Black coral is an organic marine material with a smooth, deeply lustrous jet-black surface and a Mohs hardness of 3.5–4.0. Australian opal is hydrated silica with play-of-color, shown here in soft iridescent greenish-blue. Opal has a Mohs hardness of 5.5–6.5.

A Note on Color:

Photography is captured under controlled lighting to represent this piece as accurately as possible. Australian opal play-of-color shifts with the angle of light and view — individual stones vary in dominant hue, and colors may read slightly differently depending on your screen's calibration and light source.

Care:

Your jewelry is a lifetime investment and a work of art — treat it with the care it deserves. Remove before sleeping, swimming, bathing, showering, or any prolonged water exposure. Never apply lotions, creams, hairspray, perfume, or cosmetics while wearing — always put on last. Avoid prolonged exposure to perspiration. Avoid impact and abrasive surfaces. Keep away from hot water, direct sunlight, and sudden temperature changes. Avoid chlorine, harsh chemicals, and prolonged chemical exposure. Never use ultrasonic or steam cleaners. Wipe gently after each wear with a soft, dry cloth dampened with plain water only — do not soak or rinse under hot water or running water. Store separately in a soft pouch to protect the black coral, opal settings, open lattice gallery, and omega clip mechanisms. Annual inspection recommended — verify all 10 stone settings and both omega clip mechanisms at each inspection.
