Marquise Tanzanite Diamond Bypass Ring

A 0.72ct marquise tanzanite is set in a multi-prong mounting, encircled by 14 round brilliant diamonds totaling 0.42ct in an individual prong surround. Each diamond is independently set and closely spaced to frame the tanzanite on all sides. The shank is a sweeping bypass design — two arms curving in opposite directions past each other beneath the mounting, with a deeply ornate open gallery between the stone and the finger. Crafted with tanzanite, diamonds, and solid 18k yellow gold — wearable art that holds its value.

This tanzanite displays a vivid royal blue-violet. Tanzanite is a strongly pleochroic stone — color shifts between vivid royal blue-violet and deep violet-blue depending on light source and viewing angle.

Tanzanite is a blue-violet variety of zoisite, found exclusively near Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, with a Mohs hardness of 6.5. Tanzanite is strongly pleochroic, shifting between vivid royal blue-violet, deep violet-blue, and burgundy depending on the angle and light source. Inclusions may be present and are characteristic of tanzanite. Diamonds are natural carbon crystals, Mohs 10, white and bright.
