Color Note:

These tanzanites display a vivid violet-blue to cornflower blue. Tanzanite is a strongly pleochroic stone — color shifts between violet-blue and cornflower blue depending on light source and viewing angle.

Stone Notes:

Tanzanite is a blue-violet variety of the mineral zoisite, found exclusively in a small mining area near Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, with a Mohs hardness of 6.5. Tanzanite is strongly pleochroic, displaying vivid violet-blue, cornflower blue, and burgundy tones depending on the angle and light source. Natural inclusions may be present and are characteristic of tanzanite.

A Note on Color:

Photography is captured under controlled lighting to represent this piece as accurately as possible. Tanzanite color shifts with the angle of light and view, and colors may read slightly differently depending on your light source, screen calibration, and brightness.

Care:

Your jewelry is a lifetime investment and a work of art — treat it with the care it deserves. Remove before sleeping, swimming, bathing, showering, or any prolonged water exposure. Never apply lotions, creams, hairspray, perfume, or cosmetics while wearing — always put on last. Avoid prolonged exposure to perspiration. Avoid impact and abrasive surfaces. Keep away from hot water, direct sunlight, and sudden temperature changes. Avoid chlorine, harsh chemicals, and prolonged chemical exposure. Never use ultrasonic or steam cleaners. Wipe gently after each wear with a soft, dry cloth dampened with plain water only — do not soak or rinse under hot water or running water. Store separately in a soft pouch to protect the tanzanite settings, open rectangular hinge links, corner ball details, and double-secured clasp. Annual inspection recommended — verify all tanzanite prongs, hinge-link integrity, and clasp security at each inspection.
