An oval amethyst of rich presence — a 17.65ct stone held in a low-set double flat wire mounting — features two parallel gold rails framing the full perimeter of the stone and creating an open cage gallery beneath. A single round brilliant diamond is set in white gold at the junction between the stone and the bail, accenting the top of the pendant. The enhancer bail opens to fit pearl necklaces or thick chains. This amethyst displays a rich, deeply saturated violet-purple — even and luminous across the full face of the oval, shifting from violet to purple with the angle of light.

Stone Notes:

Amethyst is a naturally occurring quartz variety colored violet-purple by iron, with natural translucency and a Mohs hardness of 7. Natural inclusions are characteristic of genuine amethyst and are fully expected in these stones. A single round brilliant diamond accents the bail setting in white gold — Mohs 10, white, bright, and precisely placed. ⠋

Care:
