Color Note:

This Colombian emerald displays a vivid, saturated green — rich and deeply colored across the full face of the oval. Natural inclusions are visible to the naked eye and are characteristic of this stone.

Stone Notes:

Emerald is a variety of beryl with a Mohs hardness of 7.5–8, colored green by chromium and vanadium. Natural inclusions are characteristic of emerald. Diamonds are natural carbon crystals with a Mohs hardness of 10.

Care:

Your jewelry is a lifetime investment and a work of art — treat it with the care it deserves. Remove before sleeping, swimming, bathing, or any prolonged water exposure. Avoid chlorine, harsh chemicals, and prolonged chemical exposure. Never apply lotions, creams, hairspray, perfume, or cosmetics while wearing — always put on last. Avoid prolonged exposure to perspiration. Avoid impact and abrasive surfaces. Keep away from hot water, direct sunlight, and sudden temperature changes. Never use ultrasonic or steam cleaners. Wipe gently after each wear with a soft, dry cloth dampened with plain water only — do not soak or rinse under running water. Store in a soft pouch away from harder jewelry to protect the emerald, all four emerald prongs, six diamond settings, open gallery, and flat-top shank. Annual inspection recommended — verify all four emerald prongs, all six diamond settings, gallery integrity, and shank integrity at each inspection.
