An oval Colombian emerald sits at the center of an open starburst cluster mounting — eight round brilliants in individual prong settings forming a single halo around the vivid saturated green of the oval. Sixteen more round brilliants run pavé-set along the raised central shank spine, graduating in size from cluster to band. Color Note:

This Colombian emerald displays a vivid, saturated green across the full face of the oval. Natural inclusions are visible to the naked eye and are characteristic of this stone.

Stone Notes:

Emerald is a variety of beryl with a Mohs hardness of 7.5–8, colored green by chromium and vanadium. Natural inclusions are characteristic of emerald. Diamonds are natural carbon crystals with a Mohs hardness of 10.

Care:

Your jewelry is a lifetime investment and a work of art — treat it with the care it deserves. Remove before sleeping, swimming, bathing, or any prolonged water exposure. Avoid chlorine, harsh chemicals, and prolonged chemical exposure. Never apply lotions, creams, hairspray, perfume, or cosmetics while wearing — always put on last. Avoid prolonged exposure to perspiration. Avoid impact and abrasive surfaces. Keep away from hot water, direct sunlight, and sudden temperature changes. Never use ultrasonic or steam cleaners. Wipe gently after each wear with a soft, dry cloth dampened with plain water only — do not soak or rinse under running water. Store separately in a soft pouch away from harder jewelry to protect the emerald, halo prong settings, 24 diamond settings, pavé spine, open starburst mounting, and shank. Annual inspection recommended — verify all eight halo prong settings, all sixteen pavé settings, spine integrity, gallery integrity, and shank integrity at each inspection.
