Color Note: The emeralds display a deep, saturated apple green — natural inclusions are a characteristic of the variety, not flaws. Each opal displays shifting blue, green, and white play-of-color — unique to the individual stone, changing continuously with light and angle.

Stone Notes: Emerald is a variety of beryl, Mohs 7.5–8, colored by chromium and vanadium. Natural inclusions — known in the trade as jardin — are characteristic of the species. Opal is a hydrated amorphous silica, Mohs 5.5–6.5, whose play-of-color results from light diffraction through microscopic silica spheres.

Care: Your jewelry is a lifetime investment and a work of art — treat it with the care it deserves. Remove before sleeping, swimming, washing hands, doing dishes, or any activity where it may be exposed to water, chemicals, or impact. Never apply lotions, creams, or perfume while wearing — always put on last. Avoid prolonged exposure to perspiration. Emeralds are durable but avoid sharp impact — natural inclusions (jardin) can create internal stress points. Opals are sensitive stones — they contain natural water and can crack or craze if exposed to extreme temperature changes, prolonged heat, or very dry conditions. Never use ultrasonic or steam cleaners on opals. Clean gently with a soft damp cloth only — no soap, no brushes, no soaking. Store separately in a soft pouch away from harder stones. Keep away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Annual inspection recommended — check all prong settings on both emeralds and opals regularly.
