Oval Rubellite Tourmaline & Diamond Ring

A 3.64ct oval rubellite tourmaline is secured by four prongs in an open wire basket. Round brilliant diamonds frame both ends of the stone, while three tapered baguettes fan outward across each shoulder in individual end-prong settings. Radiating wire supports leave the gallery open beneath the stones. Triple wire shoulders join into a grooved band at the back. Crafted with rubellite tourmaline, diamonds, and solid 14k yellow gold.

Color Note:

This rubellite tourmaline displays a rich rose-wine red, with purplish-red tones in the body of the stone and brighter rose-red highlights at the facet edges. Natural internal inclusions are part of the individual character of this stone.

Stone Notes:

Rubellite is a red-to-pink color variety of tourmaline, with a Mohs hardness of 7–7.5. This oval-cut stone displays rose-wine red color and faceted surfaces. Diamonds are crystalline carbon with a Mohs hardness of 10.

Care:

Never apply lotions, creams, hairspray, perfume, or cosmetics while wearing — always put on last. Avoid prolonged exposure to perspiration. Avoid impact and abrasive surfaces. Keep away from hot water, direct sunlight, and sudden temperature changes. Avoid chlorine, harsh chemicals, and prolonged chemical exposure. Never use ultrasonic or steam cleaners. Wipe gently after each wear with a soft, dry cloth dampened with plain water only — do not soak or rinse under hot water or running water. Store separately in a soft pouch to protect the tourmaline, open wire basket, individual round brilliant settings, baguette end-prong settings, center stone prongs, and triple round wire shank. Annual inspection recommended — verify all round brilliant settings, baguette end-prong integrity, center stone prong security, open gallery structure, and triple round wire shank integrity at each inspection.
