An oval ruby in a semi-wire mounting, set at the center of a complete round brilliant diamond halo. Sixteen diamonds encircle the ruby with three prongs each, forming a continuous ring of white light around the vivid pink-red center. Beneath the mounting, an open semi-wire gallery of vertical gold spokes lifts the composition above the finger, allowing light to pass through from below. The slim tapered shank flows cleanly from the base. Crafted with natural ruby, natural diamonds, and solid 18k yellow gold — wearable art that holds its value.

This ruby displays a vivid pink-red. Color may read slightly more red, pink-red, or deep magenta depending on angle and light source.

Stone Notes:

Ruby is a natural variety of corundum — aluminum oxide colored red by chromium — with a Mohs hardness of 9. Natural inclusions are characteristic of ruby. Round brilliant diamonds are natural carbon crystals, Mohs 10, white, bright, and complete the halo around the ruby.

Care:
