A 3.29ct oval tanzanite set in a 4-prong crown semi-basket mounting, flanked on each side by a flower cluster of diamonds — four marquise brilliants arranged as petals radiating outward, with round brilliant diamonds filling the spaces between and framing the composition. The clusters extend the full shoulder width, giving the ring an open, blooming silhouette from every angle. Beneath the tanzanite, an open semi-basket gallery exposes the pavilion from below. Color Note:

This tanzanite displays a deep royal blue-violet. Tanzanite is a strongly pleochroic stone — color shifts between deep royal blue-violet and vivid violet-blue depending on light source and viewing angle.

Stone Notes:

Tanzanite is a blue-violet variety of zoisite, found exclusively near Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. It ranks 6.5 on the Mohs scale — softer than diamond or sapphire — and deserves extra care to protect against chips and scratches. Tanzanite is strongly pleochroic — shifting between deep royal blue-violet, vivid violet-blue, and burgundy depending on angle and light. Natural inclusions are fully expected in natural stones. Twenty diamonds — 12 round brilliants and 8 marquise — surround the tanzanite in a mixed-cut flower cluster on each shoulder, white, bright, and precisely placed. Diamonds are natural carbon crystals, Mohs 10, the hardest natural material.

Your jewelry is a lifetime investment and a work of art — treat it with the care it deserves. Tanzanite is beautiful but more delicate than sapphire or diamond — handle with care. Remove before swimming, bathing, or any prolonged water exposure. Avoid chlorine, harsh chemicals, and prolonged chemical exposure. Never apply lotions, hairspray, perfume, or cosmetics while wearing — always put on last. Avoid prolonged exposure to perspiration. Avoid impact, sharp blows, and abrasive surfaces — tanzanite can chip or scratch. Never expose to sudden temperature changes. Clean gently with warm water and mild soap using a soft brush to reach the open semi-basket gallery and between all marquise and round diamond settings; pat dry thoroughly with a soft cloth. Never use ultrasonic or steam cleaners. Store separately in a soft pouch. Annual inspection recommended — verify all prong settings, marquise point prongs, and semi-basket integrity at each inspection.
