Oval Tanzanite & Diamond Rope-Twist Shank Ring

A 0.86ct faceted oval tanzanite is secured by four prongs within a mixed-cut diamond cluster. Eight marquise diamonds and two round brilliant diamonds frame the stone, arranged four marquises and one round per side. Rope-twist texture follows both shoulders, tapering into a smooth polished band at the back. An open scalloped gallery supports the stones beneath the setting. Crafted with tanzanite, diamonds, and solid 18k yellow gold.

Color Note:

This tanzanite displays a medium violet-blue. Tanzanite is a strongly pleochroic stone — color shifts between violet-blue and blue-violet depending on light source and viewing angle.

Stone Notes:

Tanzanite is the blue-violet variety of zoisite, with a Mohs hardness of 6.5. Its pleochroism causes color to vary with viewing direction. This oval stone displays medium violet-blue tones. Diamonds are crystalline carbon with a Mohs hardness of 10.

Care:

Never use ultrasonic or steam cleaners. Wipe gently after each wear with a soft, dry cloth dampened with plain water only — do not soak or rinse under hot water or running water. Store separately in a soft pouch to protect the tanzanite, diamond settings, open scalloped gallery, and rope-twist shank. Annual inspection recommended — verify all prong settings, marquise diamond points, and rope-twist shank integrity at each inspection.
