A pair of earrings featuring two oval tanzanites, each surrounded by a two-row starburst diamond halo — an inner ring of diamonds radiating outward into a second outer ring, with open spoke gaps between the rows. Beneath each stone, an open sunburst spoke gallery exposes the pavilion from below. Pierced omega clip backs with a secure lever mechanism provide confident all-day wear. Color Note:
These tanzanites display a vivid royal blue with a distinct violet undertone. Tanzanite is a strongly pleochroic stone — color shifts between royal blue and violet-blue depending on light source and viewing angle.
Stone Notes:
Tanzanite is a blue-violet variety of the mineral zoisite, found exclusively in a small mining area near Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Mohs 6.5. Tanzanite is strongly pleochroic — displaying royal blue, violet-blue, and burgundy tones depending on the angle and light source. Natural inclusions are characteristic of genuine tanzanite and are fully expected in natural stones. Diamonds are natural carbon crystals, Mohs 10 — forty per pair in a two-row starburst halo — white, bright, and precisely placed.
A Note on Color:
Photography is captured under controlled lighting to represent this piece as accurately as possible. Tanzanite color shifts with the angle of light and view, and colors may read slightly differently depending on your light source, screen calibration, and brightness.
Care:
Your jewelry is a lifetime investment and a work of art — treat it with the care it deserves. Tanzanite is sensitive to impact, pressure, and abrasive surfaces — handle with care and avoid rough wear. Keep away from hot water and sudden temperature changes. Remove before swimming, bathing, or any prolonged water exposure. Avoid chlorine, harsh chemicals, and prolonged chemical exposure. Never apply lotions, hairspray, perfume, or cosmetics while wearing — always put on last. Avoid prolonged exposure to perspiration. Clean gently with warm water and mild soap using a soft brush to reach the open gallery spokes; pat dry thoroughly with a soft cloth. Never use ultrasonic or steam cleaners. Check omega clip lever mechanism regularly — verify secure closure before each wear. Store separately in a soft pouch. Annual inspection recommended — verify all prong settings, halo integrity, and omega clip security at each inspection.
