Oval Tanzanite & Diamond Stepped Shank Ring

A 1.04ct faceted oval tanzanite is secured by four prongs above a flat wire frame, flanked by ten round brilliant diamonds arranged five per side in diagonal arcs. Three polished gold fins sweep along each shoulder, with stepped ends and open spaces between them, joining into a single band at the back. An open gallery supports the tanzanite beneath the setting. Crafted with tanzanite, diamonds, and solid 18k yellow gold.

Color Note:

This tanzanite displays a medium violet-blue. Tanzanite is a strongly pleochroic stone — color shifts between violet-blue and blue-violet depending on light source and viewing angle.

Stone Notes:

Tanzanite is the blue-violet variety of zoisite, with a Mohs hardness of 6.5. Its pleochroism causes color to vary with viewing direction. This oval stone displays medium violet-blue tones. Diamonds are crystalline carbon with a Mohs hardness of 10.

Care:

Wipe gently after each wear with a soft, dry cloth dampened with plain water only — do not soak or rinse under hot water or running water. Store separately in a soft pouch to protect the tanzanite, diamond settings, three-step shank, and open gallery. Annual inspection recommended — verify all prong settings, three-step fin integrity, and open gallery at each inspection.
