Color Note:
These tanzanites display a vivid violet-blue to blue-purple. Tanzanite is a strongly pleochroic stone — color shifts between violet-blue and blue-purple depending on light source and viewing angle.
Stone Notes:
Tanzanite is a blue-violet variety of the mineral zoisite, found exclusively in a small mining area near Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Mohs 6.5. Tanzanite is strongly pleochroic — displaying vivid violet-blue, blue-purple, and burgundy tones depending on the angle and light source. Natural inclusions are characteristic of genuine tanzanite and are fully expected in natural stones. Diamonds are natural carbon crystals, Mohs 10 — two per X crossing — white, bright, and precisely placed.
A Note on Color:
Photography is captured under controlled lighting to represent this piece as accurately as possible. Tanzanite color shifts with the angle of light and view, and colors may read slightly differently depending on your light source, screen calibration, and brightness.
Care:
Your jewelry is a lifetime investment and a work of art — treat it with the care it deserves. Tanzanite is sensitive to impact, pressure, and abrasive surfaces — handle with care and avoid rough wear. Keep away from hot water and sudden temperature changes. Remove before swimming, bathing, or any prolonged water exposure. Avoid chlorine, harsh chemicals, and prolonged chemical exposure. Never apply lotions, hairspray, perfume, or cosmetics while wearing — always put on last. Avoid prolonged exposure to perspiration. Clean gently with warm water and mild soap using a soft brush; pat dry thoroughly with a soft cloth. Never use ultrasonic or steam cleaners. Store separately in a soft pouch. Annual inspection recommended — verify all prong settings and clasp security at each inspection.
