Color Note: This peridot displays a vivid lime-green with strong natural transparency. Color shifts in warmth and saturation depending on the angle of light and the light source — the vivid lime-green may read warmer or cooler depending on conditions. Minor natural inclusions are characteristics of the variety, not flaws.

Stone Notes: Peridot is the gem variety of the mineral olivine and one of the few gemstones that occurs in only one color — green — ranging from yellow-green to vivid lime to deep olive, determined by iron content. Peridot forms deep in the earth's mantle and is brought to the surface through volcanic activity. Mohs 6.5–7. Diamonds are natural carbon crystals, Mohs 10.
