These rubies display a vivid raspberry-red. Color may read slightly more red, pink-red, or deep magenta depending on angle and light source.

Stone Notes:

Ruby is a natural variety of corundum — aluminum oxide colored red by chromium — with a Mohs hardness of 9. Natural inclusions are characteristic of ruby. Diamonds are natural carbon crystals, Mohs 10, white and bright.
