Color Note: These tanzanites display a vivid royal blue with a distinct violet undertone. Tanzanite is a strongly pleochroic stone — color shifts between royal blue and violet-blue depending on light source and viewing angle. This is a natural optical property of the stone, not a flaw. Natural inclusions are characteristic of genuine tanzanite and are fully expected in natural stones.

Stone Notes: Tanzanite is a blue-violet variety of the mineral zoisite, found exclusively in a small mining area near Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. It ranks 6.5 on the Mohs scale. Tanzanite is strongly pleochroic — displaying royal blue, violet-blue, and burgundy tones depending on the angle and light source.

A Note on Color: Photography is captured under controlled lighting to represent this piece as accurately as possible. Tanzanite color shifts with the angle of light and view, and colors may read slightly differently depending on your light source, screen calibration, and brightness.

Care: Your jewelry is a lifetime investment and a work of art — treat it with the care it deserves. Tanzanite is beautiful but more delicate than sapphire or diamond — handle with care. Remove before sleeping, swimming, showering, or any water activity. Never apply lotions, hairspray, perfume, or cosmetics while wearing — always put on last. Avoid prolonged exposure to perspiration. Avoid impact, sharp blows, and abrasive surfaces — tanzanite can chip or scratch. Never expose to sudden temperature changes. Clean gently with warm water and mild soap using a soft brush to reach the open gallery spokes; pat dry thoroughly with a soft cloth. Never use ultrasonic or steam cleaners. Check omega clip lever mechanism regularly — verify secure closure before each wear. Store separately in a soft pouch. Annual inspection recommended — verify all prong settings, halo integrity, and omega clip security at each inspection.
