An octopus cradles a 4.10ct oval red coral cabochon with a smooth, polished dome. Its high-polish mantle rises above the stone, while textured tentacles curve around the coral and into the mounting. Tsavorite garnet eyes and a single round brilliant diamond set in a side tentacle accent the sculptural form. Crafted with red coral, tsavorite, diamond, and solid 14k white gold.

Color Note:

This red coral displays a vivid, saturated red. Tonal variation and surface character are inherent characteristics of the material. Color may read slightly more red, orange-red, or warm depending on angle and light source.

Stone Notes:

Red coral is an organic gem material with a Mohs hardness of 3–4. This cabochon displays vivid, saturated red with surface variations characteristic of the material. Tsavorite is a green variety of grossular garnet with a Mohs hardness of 7.5–8.0. Diamond is crystalline carbon with a Mohs hardness of 10.

A Note on Color:

Care:

Wipe gently after each wear with a soft, dry cloth dampened with plain water only — do not soak or rinse under hot water or running water. Store separately in a soft pouch away from harder stones. Annual inspection recommended — verify the coral tentacle setting, all tsavorite bezel and bead settings, diamond bead setting, and open split-shank integrity at each inspection.
